
Mr. Burns is the founding partner of Chicago-based Cooper Conlin Partners, LLC (“CCP”) which is the successor firm to Burns & Company.
Prior to joining Burns & Company, Mr. Burns opened and headed Eastdil Realty Company’s Chicago office. Mr. Burns was a Managing Director at Eastdil and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. During Mr. Burns’ tenure at Eastdil he brokered in excess of 25 million RSF ($5 billion) of assets over a five-year period and was voted Chicago’s Investment Broker of the Year in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Mr. Burns began his career in the real estate in 1985. He spent twelve years with The John Buck Company (“JBC”) where Mr. Burns was a Partner. While at JBC, Mr. Burns divided his time between third-party investment brokerage and principaling activities involving the capitalization and recapitalization of JBC’s new development projects and existing assets.
Mr. Burns attended Lake Forest college where he studied economics. Mr. Burns is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
Mr. Disney started his professional career with Cooper Conlin Partner and has been a valuable member of the management team for the past five years. Prior to joining CCP, he attended Michigan State University where he received a B.S. in Biology. Mr. Disney’s critical thinking and analytical training have played a major role in CCP’s ability to aid its clients in making informed decisions in an expeditious manner.
